Why did you come up with your own skin care line, and how did Cocco Clinique MD SkinCare come about?”
My background before obtaining my medical degree is in Biochemistry. So, naturally I’ve always been fascinated with the biology of skin and the concept of attaining and maintaining Skin Health.
Pharmaceutical grade skin care products
As a plastic surgeon, many patients approach me for treatment of skin conditions and while I really enjoyed giving skin care recommendations. I didn’t have a single skin care line in which I could completely vouch for. Don’t get me wrong, there are good cosmeceuticals out there, but some of the product lines are so vast and incredibly complex, it’s hard to sift through the variety. While other lines have taken advantage of a good reputation to come up with catchy sounding ingredients and formulas which simply don’t have the scientific backing.
I wanted to offer a simple yet efficacious skin care routine. All formulations are of the highest quality pharmaceutical grade. Something you would expect when you visit the office of a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. This is how Cocco Clinique MD SkinCare was born.
