Social Media Transparency
At Dr. Jennyfer F. Cocco, MD’s clinic, we believe in transparency in cosmetic surgery. Through our active presence on social media platforms, we educate and prepare our patients by providing accurate information about their procedures. We use visual content to inform the public about our services and serve an educational purpose. Dr. Cocco breaks down stigmas and misconceptions, answering questions and educating followers. We believe in “keeping it real” by showing every aspect of cosmetic surgery, even when it’s not conventionally beautiful.
Our commitment to transparency extends beyond simply showcasing before and after photos. We aim to prepare patients thoroughly by offering insights into pre-operative and post-operative care, as well as setting realistic expectations regarding the final results. By utilizing social media, we utilize visual content such as photos and videos to inform the public about our clinic’s services while also serving an educational purpose.

Our Patient Consent Process
1 ~ Consent: Social Media Consent Form
Prior to their procedure, patients will receive a social media consent form. This form allows them to choose whether they want their surgery and results to be shared on social media. They also have the option to customize which social media platforms they are comfortable with.
2 ~ Flexibility: Changing Preferences
Patients have the flexibility to change their mind about social media participation at any time before their procedure.
3 ~ Clarification: Chat Support
If patients have any questions or concerns regarding our social media or media consent form, we are available to chat and provide clarification.
4 ~ Visibility: Limited Duration
When a patient’s surgery is featured in our Facebook or Instagram story, it will only be visible for 24 hours. However, if requested, we can also email them a copy for their personal viewing.
5 ~ Removal: Content Control
If a patient later decides to have their photos taken down from our social media platforms, we are more than happy to accommodate their request. It’s important to note that once content is online, we cannot control third-party sharing.
Our Promise To Our Patients
We prioritize your privacy by always covering your face during social media posts, unless you provide consent to show otherwise. Additionally, we offer the option to cover tattoos and other identifying features for added privacy.
We strictly adhere to patients who have filled out a social media consent form. Only those who have given their consent will be featured on our social media platforms.
To ensure proper consent procedures, we have a dedicated staff responsible for overseeing and verifying that all patients featured on social media have provided informed consent. We want you to feel comfortable and understand that there is no pressure to participate in our social media presence.
Your comfort is our priority. We understand that it is your surgery, and we strive to make you as comfortable as possible throughout the process.
For any inquiries regarding our social media or the social media consent process, please contact us by emailing info@drcocco.com. We will be happy to assist you and address any questions you may have.
